Carson Daly got the 2nd highest number of searches for an MTV personality, and first if you throw out Ananda Lewis who isn’t really active as a host there anymore. The TRL host got 5,544 searches in December on pay-per search engine Overture.com. This also puts Carson as the most popular celeb with a first name of Carson, though only about half as popular as late night king Johnny Carson.
