Justin Timberlake proved himself to be the most popular member of *NSYNC and apparently every individual in a musical group on the search engine Overture.com for the month of December. The boy band centerpiece received 52,206 searches for the month of December on pay-per search engine Overture.com, over three times more than the group’s 2nd most popular member, Lance Bass. Several of the searches included the name of someone who received many more searches than he did – Justin’s girlfriend Britney Spears.
