Touching Moments From Justin & Grandparents At VMAs
Us Weekly reports Justin Timberlake’s grandparents were especially touched during the MTV Video Music Awards last week when the *NSYNC star mentioned them for turning him on to Johnny Cash’s music during his acceptance speak, after Timberlake’s ‘Cry Me A River’ video beat out Cash’s ‘Hurt’ for Best Male Video. Sadie Bomar told Us Weekly that her husband Bill, “who has been in ill health… sat in his chair with tears streaming down his eyes. He said, ‘I just love that boy so much’.” Timberlake called his grandparents backstage at the show. “We told him how proud we were and how much we loved him. He said, ‘Thank you. Granny and Poppa. I love you, too. You mean the world to me.”
