Tower Records Stops Selling Shakira In Boyfriend Protest
Antonio de la Rua the son of former Argentinian President Fernando de la Rua is at the heart of a controversy that has Tower Records in Argentina refusing to sell records by the star of their Columbia neighbor, Shakira. The decision to ban Shakira’s albums was made by the President of Tower Records in Argentina, Pablo de Paola. Seems the country who is in economic shambles was furious that Shakira used her boyfriend in her latest video for ‘Underneath Your Clothes’.
