One of the moderators on Jessica Simpson’s official message board transcribed Jessica’s interview. In it Jessica reveals that in spite of her previous repeated assertions that ‘Irresistible is Jessica Simpson’ her label, Sony, made her make that album and that posing for Maxim, a men’s magazine, was not her idea. Jessica said, “That last record, I mean, it wasn’t me. Like my last record, even ‘Irresistible’. It was a great song and it was a great song for me. But, you know, I don’t think that most of that record, if the label wasn’t telling me that I needed to do it, I wouldn’t have done it.”
