Twins Jump From Catwalk To Recording Studio

The New York Daily News reports twin models Alex and Brit Smith have scrapped the runway to work on their debut album as the pop duo MICA. “Modeling was literally a complete fluke,” Brit said. “It’s not something we ever want to get back into.” The twins – who count Christina Aguilera, Aretha Franklin and Prince among their role models – call their musical stylings a “soulful, poppy sound.” The twins are currently in the studio with Dallas Austin.
