Tyler Hilton: I Love LA
Tyler Hilton updated fans on his blog at MySpace on Saturday (February 28), talking about how he’s loving living in Los Angeles. The singer songwriter tells readers:
Over the course of the last 8 months or so, I think I’ve overlooked a surprising and wonderful plus to the last phase of what has been this album’s looooong birthing; I haven’t moved! All my fascination with the wanderlust of Jack Kerouac, Bob Dylan, Robert Johnson, and Johnny Appleseed has momentarily given way to interests (people, events, art) in one place: Los Angeles. When I moved back almost a year ago I made a conscious effort to try and make it home. I think I needed one. I deserved one, damnit. I’d tried so hard to cast Nashville in that role a year or so earlier and was terribly broken hearted when I realized it wasn’t the place for me to make a record yet. I needed a city and I needed a home and I needed a record to come from there. I also hoped that when I left again on tour I’d appreciate the rest of the world even more having a reference point of a city I wasn’t a guest in.
