The Los Angeles Times reports that more than 13 employees at UCLA Medical Center, none of whom are doctors, are going to be fired for snooping into the confidential medical records of Britney Spears while the troubled singer was hospitalized in its psychiatric ward. Twelve others, including several doctors, will be disciplined otherwise for looking at her computerized records. Jeri Simpson, the hospital’s director of human resources, said, “It’s not only surprising, it’s very frustrating and it’s very disappointing.” Read more.
