Unflattering Reviews Travel Fast On Internet

Tony Hicks of the Contra Costa Times complains, “The internet has, no doubt, made this job easier. It also puts me square in the middle of screaming-rock-fan hell. Every time I write something about someone that’s not necessary flattering, somebody sees it, grabs it and posts it on a fan site. Then comes the hate mail. From everywhere. The worst in recent memory are fans, who can’t understand that I was trying to be nice.”
