United Spirit Arena Equipment Should Be Beefed Up

Thursday’s editorial in The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal focused on Britney Spears’ cancelled show last week due to the failure of the United Spirit Arena’s main transformer. The paper writes, “It is impossible to undo what happened, but it is possible to find and fix problems and potential problems. If the equipment needs to be beefed up so that it will not be stretched to the limit again, that is what should be done. We appreciate [Jim Bush's (the arena's technical director)] determination to do just that.” Read more.
