Update On A.D.I.D.A.S Ban For JC Chasez

Dirtypop.net has the exclusive from Alex Greggs, the producer of A.D.I.D.A.S on what’s going on with *NSYNC member ’s single, ‘All Day Long I Dream About Sex’.

“The 3 radio DJ’s that I spoke with said that the program directors were afraid of playing the song, that they might get a fine from FCC. They were all waiting for MTV to play the video. Once MTV played the video, they knew that it would be cool to push ADIDAS
into primetime rotation, but when MTV said “no”, radio got scared as well, and now we are in the position that we are in now.”

…These are the facts-

It doesn’t make sense to make a video for ADIDAS and set up promotion to have him play the video at Wango Tango and tell people that it is the next single, only
to have them change their mind the day that MTV was supposed to air it. And on top of that to have 70% percent of the radio stations pull the song off rotation overnight.

…FCC has not said “You can’t play it” and radio is just afraid of getting fined. So you see, we can’t blame FCC and we can’t blame radio, so in the meantime we are going to push Build My World and then hopefully (try to push ADIDAS again in a couple of months). So please tell people not to point fingers until we know for sure, because that might do more harm than good…
