US Weekly Explain Why They Airbrushed Cigarette
Jeannette Walls of MSNBC quizzed a spokesman for Us Weekly after a photo of Britney Spears published in the magazine had the cigarette Britney was photographed holding airbrushed out of an article about celebrity butts. The spokesman said, “Yes, we did airbrush it out. We didn’t want readers to confuse one butt for the other. And Britney’s is much better to look at than a cigarette butt.”
