USA Today Music Critic Backs Britney Spears Over J.Lo
USA Today music writer Edna Gundersen was asked about why Jennifer Lopez seems to get more respect musically than Britney Spears, even though “musically, creatively, vocally, lyrically on the same level.” Gundersen responded, “Same level? I’d wager that Britney has more musical savvy, a broader vocal range and a nicer singing voice by far. I have no idea how J.Lo got this far in the music industry with so little talent. I think she just gets a lot more attention because she’s a crazy media hound and plays out her soap-opera life for the cameras and tabloids.” Check out the entire transcript here.
