USA Today Music Critic Blasts Christina Aguilera

Ken Barnes of USA Today took part in an online chat with readers and was asked about Christina Aguilera’s image makeover, and if jazz and blues from the era she’s emulating would suit her voice well. “Not singing at all would suit her voice well (or, more accurately, would suit me well),” Barnes responded. “Her various image shifts have so grossed me out that I can’t summon up any interest in what she might do–and her voice is more showy than one of lasting quality, I think.
