USA Today’s music writer Ken Barnes took part in an online chat with readers Tuesday (March 16), discussing his thoughts on Britney Spears, Michelle Branch, *NSYNC star JC Chasez, and Whitney Houston, amongst others. He said of Spears: “Britney, for better or worse, seems to be back big for the moment, though more from celebrity eccentricity than any musical breakthrough.” As for Chasez? “JC did seem to go the Justin route, but radio just isn’t enthused.
