USA Today music writer Ken Barnes took part in an online chat with readers on Tuesday and was asked if he had news on the status of the Backstreet Boys’ new album. “Sorry to say, the news would be that anybody was still interested,” he responded. “I know they still have fans (I’m kind of one, or at least I think that ‘I Want It That Way’ is a great record and the absolute pinnacle of the boy-band era), but it’s just too late.” Read more.
