V-103 Does ‘Friendlier’ Interview With Whitney Houston

Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun-Times reports that Whitney Houston chatted with five carefully selected urban radio stations the past few days, including Chicago’s own afternoon drive team of Bonnie DeShong, Tony Richards and George Willborn on V-103, but the one getting most attention of course was her curse-filled rant on the Wendy Williams Show in New York. Houston’s conversation with the V-103 team was much friendlier. ”We saw no need to rehash all the stuff from the Diane Sawyer interview,” DeShong said Tuesday. ”Our listeners had all heard it. We did get her to talk a great deal about her relationship with her daughter. It was good, solid stuff.”
