Vanessa Carlton messaged in to fans on her official website forum from Switzerland on Tuesday. Carlton said, “Hello all, I’m in Switzerland right now. Excellent chocolate. When I arrived, the breeze smelled of sweet bananas. I have officially found Candyland (my favorite board game). I got hit by jetlag pretty hard a couple of hours ago. I’m going to Amsterdam tonight (lots of fun to be had). I laughed so hard reading some of your messages today. I’ll try to check in more often. I read your messages whenever I can. Although I don’t know any of you personally I sometimes feel as if I do. Much love and thanks for the words. Enjoy the album. It’s all yours.”
