Vanessa Carlton Seriously Adores Avril Lavigne

Following her chat on MSN earlier this week, Vanessa Carlton wanted to clarify her thoughts on Avril Lavigne. Carlton wrote on her official message board Wednesday, “Hey guys. I read the chat. Chats shouldn’t be typed, cause stuff always reads differently compared to being spoken. To all you Avril fans: I seriously adore her. I’m proud that she stood up to her label and controls the way she dresses. I do stand behind the fact that it is unfortunate that your image means so much, but that’s the way it is. Rock on.”
