Vanessa Carlton thanked fans on her official site’s message board for their votes that landed her in the number 9 spot on Friday’s Total Request Live. Vanessa said, “Hey guys, I haven’t been near a computer in a while, but here I am. I can’t believe you guys put me on TRL!! You’re awesome, all of you.
