Varsity Fanclub Perform At CHOC Fundraiser
David Lei Brandt of Varsity Fanclub checked in with fans on the boy band’s blog at MySpace on Wednesday (September 17) with the following update:
So yesterday we spent the day at CHOC, “Children’s Hospital of Orange County.” KISS FM was there doing Radio Lollipop. Lots of performers showed up such as Ne-Yo and Jesse McCartney just to name a few. We performed 3 songs outside for all the kids in front of the Hospital. It was amazing!!! Afterwards, we went inside to visit all the kids who are not able to leave their rooms. We sang to each kid individually and spent time with them laughing and having fun. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. You should have seen all the kids. They were so cute and funny. It was def one of the best days with the band yet. If you ever get a chance to visit a childrens hospital… DO IT!!! They really do appreciate it, and Ill bet you have a good time too. :)
