Victoria Beckham Takes On Wedding Planner Role For Melanie C
The Daily Star reports Melanie Chisholm has enlisted former Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham to help plan her wedding to her partner of six years, Thomas Starr. Posh has since contacted Roberto Cavalli about the wedding dress. “Mel and Victoria have become very close since the Spice Girls reunited last year,” a source told the British tabloid. “And she knows that Victoria has the contacts and the ideas to make her big day extra special.”
Meanwhile, Mel C’s other bandmates have felt a bit left out. “Mel doesn’t feel close enough to the band to ask them to be bridesmaids or maids of honor,” the insider added. “So she and Victoria have decided all the girls should be invited as guests, rather than giving them special roles.”
