VMA Kiss Wasn’t A Mickey Mouse Club Moment
The New York Daily News spoke with editors from leading music publications for response to Thursday night’s big MTV Video Music Awards moment when Madonna kissed Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. “I don’t think most people who watched that kiss were thinking about Britney on ‘The Mickey Mouse Club,’” said Teen People music editor Zena Burns. “Based on the reaction of the men I was surrounded by, I think they saw Britney in a whole new light. It was like, ‘Hello, nurse!’”
