You can vote over at for the twenty-eighth annual Rolling Stone Readers’ Poll. The award for the Artist of the Year is intended to honor the performer or group that was the best and most influential in 2003. Voting will end on December 23rd and results will be announced in RS 941, which goes on sale January 16th, 2004.

    Though Brit is making her comeback…the artist of the year for 2003 should be either Beyonce, Christina or Justin. They were all very successful this year. I like all three of them, so either would be cool.

    I voted Justin for artist of the year and best male artist…I voted Christina for best female artist and best tour to both Justin and Christina’s Justified/Stripped tour. Best Album? Coldplay’s A Rush Of Blood To The Head Best dressed? Britney Best comeback? Britney Best R&B artist? Beyonce Best Hip Hop? Eminem Best new artist? HOWIE DAY!! CHECK HIM OUT!!!!!!!!!! Best rock artist? John Mayer Best rock band? Linkin Park I think that’s all I voted for.

Okay these are my opinions based on 2003. *Artist of the Year- 50 Cent *Best Male Performer- Justin *Best Female Performer- Christina *Best Album- Stripped *Best Single- Fighter *Best Video- Cry Me A River (Okay, its 2002, but it still rocks!) *Best Tour- Tie between Charmbracelet/Stripped-Justified (MC has the edge) *Best R&B Artist- Beyonce *Best Dance Artist- Daniel Bedingfield *Best New Artist- Stacie Orrico *Best Dressed- J.Lo *Most Welcome Comeback- Britney! *Year’s Biggest Hype- Everything Britney (kiss, comeback, Fred Durst, magazine covers, etc.)
