VV Brown Goes Bowling
VV Brown appeared on the C4 show ‘Freshly Squeezed’, visiting a bowling alley with some friends and discussing her single ‘Crying blood’.
“It was written on my one string guitar, because I was really broke,” she said. “I’m not really a guitarist, so I took off all the strings and just had the bass note, and I used my nail varnish to show the fingerings.”
VV added that she wanted to create the contradiction of sad lyrics and an upbeat melody, because otherwise it’s cliché.
