VV Brown Survives A Muddy Day At Bestival
VV Brown checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Friday (September 5) after performing at the Bestival music festival on the Isle of Wight, England. Brown writes:
We played at Bestival today. The crown was awesome and it was a real good gig!! It was the muddiest festival of my life though!!! It was absolutely crazy! I know festivals are generally muddy with wellies and stuff but this was crazy. Mud so thick you could hardly see your wellies!!! It was absolutely crazy!!! Seriously!!! There were some people walking around with no shoes on, I’m telling you, which I wondered whether was a feeling of liberataion associated with some subconscious medieval like need for freedom or maybe just mad, or drunkenness. Either way driving BK in the tour bus I can’t see the color of my dress anymore as the hardness of the brown sh** and mud has completely camouflaged any sign of cotton vintage!!! Great gig but man alot of mud!!! It was the mud dle! 4 real!
