The New York Daily News reports that even though Genelex, a top DNA-testing lab, had determined that Marc Anthony is not the father of 21-year-old Miami waitress Elizabeth Leyva’s 2-month-old son, her lawyer Matthew Gentile says, “We’re disputing those results.” He adds, “I don’t want to suggest impropriety. But it has come to our attention that the lab may have violated internal policies as to how the samples must be collected.” Genelex spokeswoman Kristine Ashcraft stands by the results, saying that a cheek swab was taken from Anthony and delivered to the lab in a sealed container. “All the chain-of-custody documents [for Anthony] were intact,” says Ashcraft.
