The Mirror reports that the songwriting duo behind the Spice Girls’ first hit ‘Wannabe’, Richard “Biff” Standard and Matt Rowe – aka Matt and Biff – are busy working on new material that could end up on the girl group’s ‘Greatest Hits’ album, which will be released to coincide with the 10th anniversary of ‘Wannabe’ next year. “Simon Fuller is the mastermind behind their renaissance,” a source said. “At the christening of Posh’s sons last December, he saw Victoria huddled together with Geri, Mel C and Emma Bunton – Mel B couldn’t make it. He said they just had to reform. The seeds were sown there and then for a major comeback. It’s not been far from his thoughts ever since.”
