The Daily Mail reports that as Madonna and Guy Ritchie head to divorce court, the Material Girl is claiming the producer was cruel and verbally-abusive, belittling and ridiculing her in front of others. “Outwardly she’s the material girl and bursting with confidence, but turning 50 really hit her hard,” a source close to the couple told the British tabloid. “Madonna says Guy never said the right things to get her over that hurdle. She says he basically let her know that he thought she was over the hill. She said he had a subtle indifference towards her. She felt particularly vulnerable and felt Guy played on that, telling her that she looked ‘past it’, which would damage her confidence.
