Was Joe Jackson Shameless For Touting Record Label?
Journalist and TheRoot.com blogger Jimi Izraeli tells CNN ‘American Morning’ host Kiran Chetry why he thinks Michael Jackson’s father Joe is shameless after touting his new record label days after his son’s death.
“On theroot.com, the piece has gotten as of now about 813 comments,” Izraeli said of his commentary. “And about a quarter of those, you know, people didn’t agree with me and accused me of being just another white man, shilling for the white man and who couldn’t understand the pain that obviously black people go through. And I’ve got to tell you, it’s hard out here for a white man.” Watch the interview below.
