Westlife: #1 Or We’re Done?

The Daily Star reports Westlife’s Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan are sounding glum about the future of the group if their next release isn’t a chart topper. “If the next record doesn’t work then, yeah, it might be the end,” he said. “But, if it does work out, it’s definitely not the end, it’s as simple as that.” And Shane added, “We’ve had a fantastic career and we really want to continue it. But it’s up to us four to make the effort. We love what we do but we know that our shelf-life will run out soon.”
