The People reports Westlife’s visit to a safari park in Liverpool turned scary after a 15ft white rhino took exception to the band’s vehicle, attempting to charge them and their driver. The boy band’s guide had to speed away in the car to avoid a collision. “It certainly caused a bit of excitement in the car and we had to beat a hasty retreat,” Knowsley Safari Park boss David Ross said. “The rhino was sweltering in the heat and I think we got a bit too close. The boys fully enjoyed their trip – even though it was bit frightening.” Read more.
