Westlife Didn’t Have To Bail Live And Loud After All

While Westlife bailed on the Live and Loud festival anyways due to their wanting to watch the Ireland vs. Spain World Cup game (Spain won in a classic 3-2 shootout after two overtimes of a 1-1 tie), the festival was cancelled after torrential rains. Others who had expected to play the event in Glasgow in front of a crowd of 30,000 were Samantha Mumba, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and Blue. DF Concerts chief Geoff Ellis said: “Every possible provision has been made for bad weather in the run-up to the event.
