Westlife Enter UK Chart Battle Worrying About Enrique
The Sun spoke with Westlife’s Shane Filan who didn’t seem to worried about beating Kylie Minogue and her debut ‘In Your Eyes’ when they square off with Westlife releasing ‘World Of Our Own’. Filan said, “We are great fans of Kylie and are looking forward to meeting her at the Brits. But we reckon we will sell more singles than her.” Of his real competition, he cautioned, “Our real problem may be with Enrique Iglesias who is still so strong at the top.”
Meanwhile, the paper reports Enrique is so happy about his success in England he’s flying the country’s flag. An insider revealed, “Enrique has always wanted to crack the UK market and is blown away with his sudden success. Now the Union Jack is the first thing he unpacks.”
