Cheong Suk Wai of the Straits Times spoke with Westlife’s Nicky Byrne who revealed the groups renewed plans for a run at the U.S. market. Nicky said, “We’ve never performed properly over there, luv. The first time we tried to make it over there was the summer after promoting our first album in Britain, Europe and Asia in 2000, but we did not have as many good songs then as we do now on our new album.”
