WFAA Reports On Priscilla Ceballos’ Fake ‘Hannah Montana’ Contest Essay

It was supposed to be a giant surprise for Priscilla Ceballos’ six-year-old girl – free tickets to see ‘Hannah Montana’ star Miley Cyrus in concert in New York after the Garland, Texas girl won a “Rock Your Holidays” essay contest. But what started out as a happy story turned into an investigation after it was learned the girl’s winning essay about her father dying in Iraq in April 2007 was fabricated. A report from Dallas’ WFAA reporter Byron Harris at wfaa.com has since been removed.
