When Bloomberg Meets Lopez

There was no sign nor smell of the expensive fragrance said to be sprayed in her path. She didn’t demand that the Blue Room be painted white. She wasn’t wearing a wedding band. But Jennifer Lopez, who stopped by City Hall on Tuesday to meet NY mayor Michael Bloomberg, did arrive fashionably late and with boyfriend Ben Affleck in tow. The alleged reason for the star’s appearance was the formation of a new commission to attract Latino entertainment and media to the city. J.Lo will be honorary chairwoman. Lopez said: “I’m just really, really excited to contribute in any way I can. This is my city. I love it. Everything about it is so close to my heart. So I’m just excited to be a part of it. Whatever I can do, call me.” Video and photos have since been removed from WNBC.com.
