When Ryan’s Bus Was Rockin’, Ashlee’s Dad Came Knockin’
Star magazine reports that Ashlee Simpson’s father Joe was furious to catch his daughter in a tour bus bedroom with boyfriend Ryan Cabrera last summer. “Joe was fit to be tied,” a source said. “It was very traumatic for him.” While Joe was successful in convincing older daughter Jessica to remain a virgin until she married Nick Lachey, he was left to storm the bus and shout for his younger daughter as she hid in the bedroom. “Joe then stood near the front of the bus for five minutes, staring at the bedroom door,” the source explained. “Then he got off the bus and stood in front of it, staring it down. When Ashlee finally appeared, her hair was messed up. Joe glared at her, like, ‘Let’s go!’ Fortunately, Joe finally put it behind him.”
