Whitney Houston Rereleases ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’
In perhaps an effort to help her tarnished image, Whitney Houston’s publicist has announced the 38 year old diva will rerelease her 1991 version of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ with proceeds from the track going to benefit the New York Firefighters Disaster Relief Fund and New York Fraternal Order of Police Fund.
The CD single hits shelves on September 27th for the song first recorded by Houston during SuperBowl XXV and played on the radio during the Persian Gulf War later in the same year.
