Whitney Vs. The Beat

The Philadelphia Daily News reports 103.9 The Beat DJ Jonesy is under heat by Whitney Houston and her lawyers after a comment on her “Jonesy in the A.M.” show. Houston’s attorney Marty Singer said Tuesday, “A claim has been made over comments [by Jonesy] about Whitney Houston’s family.” Jonesy hasn’t been on-air since July 10. The station says she’s on vacation. A source at 103.9 FM tells the Daily News that the remarks concerning Houston’s daughter and Houston’s brother were referencing a story that a tabloid was writing on the singer.
