Beneath the pop sheen of Hilary Duff’s music lurks a rock ‘n’ roller, she tells Brad Barnes of the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, and she plans to prove it on a future record. “I think that you can still be cool and not have coke in your nose, you know? As blatant as that sounds,” Duff said during a recent telephone interview. “I hear ‘goody good’ all the time. I’d rather be that than be called anything else.”
