Who’s Baddest Of Them All?

Star magazine editorial director Bonnie Fuller spoke with The New York Daily News about 2006 being marked by female twentysomethings behaving badly. “I do think that it’s a tie between year of the bad girl and year of the slut,” Fuller said. “It seems like every week this fall there has been a big slut. Last year was the year of the baby bump and this year is the year of the bad girl and the party girl.” Fuller said of Britney Spears: “I think the most newsworthy of the bad girls is Britney and I think that is because of the transformation that she has undergone in the last two months. She spent the last two years being pregnant and laying low and, if anything, cultivating the image of a mom, and now she has spectacularly broken free of her husband she’s completely gone the other way.”
