Why Justin Timberlake Is Not Overrated

deserves all he’s gotten this year, and still there are those who don’t get it.

Some journalists even think Justin has done nuevo better than Michael Jackson. Tell me, honestly, you never at least hummed ‘Rock Your Body’. You’ve probably even danced in front of your mirror to it. You liked it. Admit it. ‘Like I Love You’, too. And who hasn’t done the chant from ‘Senorita’ with their friends?

Justin is one of the only people who still dances the way he does. Now, I’ve been dancing for twelve years, and Justin picked it up in clubs. I try diligently to imitate every one of his moves, but it’s never that good. Yes, he NEVER took dance lessons. CLUBS he picked it up in. Maybe you need to watch his 2002 VMA performance again, I mean, it’s just shocking, how amazing that is. It’s just natural funk he has, talent.

Justin works hard, he’s humble, and he’s just got a great work ethic. When he was going through a humongously devastating breakup, he didn’t sit in bed and cry for two years. He got up in the studio and did something with himself, and because he did that, he’s found a whole new person in himself. I mean, what do you do after you’ve been cheated on- (supposedly even by Wade, too, Justin’s good friend) You cry for months and months, right? Britney did. My point is, Justin is just such a hard worker.

He’s multi talented. Did anybody see VH1′s Before They Were Stars? I didn’t know he could do that. I mean, I highly recommend seeing him on that show. He really blew the house down with his voice. He sang ‘When A Man Loves A Woman’, and the Casting Director, Matt Casella heard him, he said, “Justin sang the sh** out of it!” Justin plays guitar, piano, and co-wrote every song on his entire CD, and more on No Strings Attached (at the age of 18, then), and three of *NSYNC’s best songs on Celebrity.

He’s got a great sense of humor. When he hosted SNL on Oct. 11, 2003, the director of the show said Justin was one of the best hosts they’ve ever seen. And really, it was unexpectedly hilarious, more so than usual.

Out of all the boy band’ers who’ve attempted a solo career, Justin was the only one people took seriously. How many people can go from a teen idol, to the biggest R&B singer /Artist (in general) of the year?

Not to mention Justin’s charming personality. He’s a gentleman, he always puts ladies first, and in all of his videos, yes, there are girls, but he never disrespects any of them, or dresses them is skimpy clothing so they look dumb.

Justin is extremely mature. He has that state of open mindedness about life, people, and sexuality. He has morals, and respect, and intelligence. He stays humble to his family, and has said that his grandfather, Bill Bomar always told Justin, “Always know where you’re going, and never forget where you came from.”

Keep in mind, Justin only 22, going on 23 in January. What else do you want from a guy for him to be named King Of Pop?

I know there are always going to be haters and human nature can’t be changed, but try to open up and understand, please. Let the commenting begin…
