Conan O’Brien joked during his Late Night monologue on Wednesday night, “This week, Britney Spears wrote a letter to Christina Aguilera, in which — [Laughter] Wow. That’s the big joke. [Laughter] Everyone’s like, ‘Ha! She can’t write! [Laughter] How does Conan do it? Where does he think of this stuff?’ It’s true. This is all true. This week, Britney Spears wrote a letter to Christina Aguilera, in which she says she wants to be friends. Yeah, isn’t that nice? [Audience aws] Yeah, I’m not sure Britney’s letter’s going to work, ’cause it starts out, ‘Dear skank’.”
