An insider tells Life & Style Weekly that when Britney Spears and her divorced parents recently reunited at a business function, hubby Kevin Federline saw her “all teary-eyed and hopeful” at the sight of her parents getting along. “Kev tried to divert attention from his own drowning marriage by planting in Brit’s mind that her parents might reunite,” the source suggested.
