Victoria Newton of The Sun is out with her predictions for 2006, and London’s gossip maven is touting Paris Hilton as the new Britney Spears. “Warners have put millions behind Paris and are making her an international priority act for the spring,” Newton writes. “Paris has drafted in the incredible writing powers of Cathy Dennis, who penned chart-toppers ‘Toxic’ for Britney and ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ for Kylie Minogue. If Cathy can’t provide her with a hit, no one can.
