Will Paris Hilton Press Charges Against Nick Carter?

The New York Daily News reports Paris Hilton was uncharacteristically elusive and dour-faced at a charity polo match in posh Bridgehampton yesterday, a day after photos surfaced showing her bruised and battered. There was little evidence of the fat lip and black-and-blue marks on her arm that she sported earlier in the week. Family spokeswoman Catherine Saxton wouldn’t comment on whether her injuries were due to an attack by Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter, but a family friend said Hilton’s parents, Rick and Kathy, are “weighing whether to press charges. They know that a trial could bring up a lot of subjects they’d rather avoid.”
