Las Vegas hotspot Pure is considering withdrawing Britney Spears’ New Year’s Eve appearance fee of $400,000 after the singer violated the contract by leaving the club early. “Britney failed to spend the agreed amount of time in the club, because she had to be helped out after collapsing,” a source argued. The club also isn’t happy with Spears’ explanation that she merely fell asleep, implying the place is boring. But after the Las Vegas Review Journal reported the club raked in $2.1 million on New Year’s Eve thanks largely to advance ticket sales touting Britney’s appearance, they may not have a convincing case.
