Craig Berman of MSNBC offered his thoughts on the final three contestants on ‘American Idol’ — Taylor Hicks, Katharine McPhee and Elliott Yamin. “None of the remaining three have the presence of [Carrie] Underwood or Kelly Clarkson, or the powerful voice of Fantasia Barrino,” Berman writes. “Hicks may have the winning stage personality of Season 2 winner Ruben Studdard, but it isn’t like Studdard’s career is the roadmap any of the remaining finalists want to follow.” Read more.
