BBC reports the latest drama on Pop Idol winner Will Young that has his label BMG and Top of the Pops in a war of words. TOTP offered to have Young sing a medley of the ‘Anything Is Possible’ and ‘Evergreen’ songs in a 2 1/2 minute slot but his label BMG rejected the offer. A spokeswoman for TOTP said, “We extended an olive branch suggesting that Will performs a medley of both songs to fit into a two-and-a-half minute time slot which is standard for the show. But BMG will not entertain the idea, which means millions of his fans will miss out on the chance to see him perform in the studio.” Read more.
